Ingredients You’ll Need
For these healthy waffles for babies here are the ingredients:
- All purpose flour
- Coconut sugar
- Baking powder
- Pink salt
- Eggs
- Oat milk
- Dairy Free Butter
- Vanilla Extract
Extra ingredients can be added if you want to change them up, i.e blueberries.

- Mixing bowl or Kenwood Electric Mixer (I have an old version of this)
- Whisk
- Waffle Maker
- or Waffle silicone mould
How to Make Baby and Toddler Friendly Breakfast Waffles

Easy Waffle Recipe for Kids – Dairy Free
Equipment
- 1 Waffle Maker
Ingredients
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 2 tbsp Coconut sugar
- 4 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Pink salt or salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups Oat milk or cups
- 6 tbsp Dairy Free Butter melted or butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Turn on the waffle maker to start heating up
- Mix all dry ingredients together – All purpose flour, Coconut sugar, Baking powder, Pink salt or salt.
- Now add all wet ingredients – milk, eggs, vanilla extract & melted butter
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients together to make a liquid consistency. Mix until there are no lumps. Squash all lumps with a spoon.
- Add liquid into the waffle maker and let the waffles cook for approximately 6-8 minutes.
- Add waffles to drying rack and let them cool completely.
- Once cool either eat or add into a ziplock bag and pop them in the freezer. They are also okay in the fridge for 2/3 days.

- If you want these EGG FREE, simply swap the egg in the recipe to flaxseed.
- You can store these easy waffles in the fridge for 2-3 days, or alternatively you can freeze these waffles for up to 3 months in a zip lock bag.
- For reheating, take out the night before from the freezer. You can use the toaster or the microwave or even warm them up in the oven!
